Villa Vollard impressively stands on the hillside of the picturesque village of Rodia, 1.8km from the nearest beach and only 13km from the lively cosmopolitan city of Heraklion.
This luxurious Villa Vollard can easily be considered a masterpiece of art. It was exceptionally designed and decorated by an artist, exhibiting unsurpassed style, both within and without. That is why it is a real work of art! The villa was named from the season and the series of works by Picasso themed on the Minotaur (a mythical creature that lived in the maze of Knossos) and virgins, inspired by the Cretan mythology which he loved so much.

The luxurious Villa Vollard is comfortably accommodating 9 guests in beds and up to 11 people if it is necessary. The Villa offers 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a beautifully landscaped outdoor area, featuring a large courtyard with a beautiful garden that surrounds the Villa, charcoal BBQ facilities, a private swimming pool, jacuzzi tub and parking space for 4 cars. The pool terrace is equipped with sun beds, outdoor dining table under a shaded pergola, as well as an outdoor, comfortable sitting area.
THE OUTDOORS

The outside area comprises traditional stonework and a bamboo pergola; Cretan terracotta pots brimming with geraniums, the rich greenery in the garden and the view, fulfill all yearning for cultivated beauty. The garden also offers a barbecue and a wonderful traditional wood burning oven.
Secluded from the crowded tourist areas, our guests easily become acquainted with the genuine Cretan lifestyle, whilst enjoying high quality facilities, services and picturesque surroundings, together with a characteristic “home away from home†warmth and hospitality. The amphitheater style construction of this wonderful villa, offers breathtaking panoramic views of the sea, the famous Dia’s Island and the golden diversity of the east.
