Villa Castro is a luxury 3 bedroom villa built on a hillside in the small village of Plaka near the famous resort of Elounda. It belongs in the Elounda Maris Villa Complex and offers superb views of th Spinalonga island, the Elounda Bay and the blue sea that invites you to surrender to daydreaming, far away from the bustling city life.
The elegance of the spacious and stylishly furnished 3-bedroom villa together with the warm and welcoming atmosphere create the feeling of refined luxury. The villa is surrounded by a rock and herb garden that spread their aromas in the air and has a private pool and spacious terraces.

A common drive way leads to all three villas (Villa Imperia, Villa Castro and Villa Mirabello) but each villa has its own private parking space.
As you enter the villa you’ll find an open plan area where the living room, dining area and the kitchen is. The living room has a balcony offering wonderful views or the sea and the island of Spinalonga.
Two steps lead up to the two bedrooms, one double and one twin, and a bathroom with a shower. Both bedrooms have access to balconies.
Another staircase leads from the ground floor to the pool level where there is a master bedroom, one WC, and the wellness room with the Jacuzzi. The wellness room and the master bedroom have access to the terrace, pool and garden all offering breathtaking views of the Mirabello Gulf and the island of Spinalonga.
Each of the Elounda Maris Villas (Villa Imperia, Villa Castro and Villa Mirabello) has its own private swimming pool, terraces, lawn and herb garden, a BBQ and outdoor furnished areas.
The only difference between them is that Villa Imperia had a larger outdoor area, Villa Mirabello a slightly smaller one and Villa Castro the smallest of them.

The views of the sea, mountains and island of Spinalonga are stunning from all three villas.

5.00 - ”Beautiful Location”
My wife and I enjoyed a lovely 12 day stay at Villa Castro. It was the second time we had stayed at the Villa. It was very clean and we received a nice welcome pack of fruit, biscuits and a bottle of wine. The views from the terrace are breath taking. As we have been to Crete many times it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The only negative comment would be that it would not be suitable for anyone who has difficulty with walking up steep hills as the villa is located about 500 yards up from the main road and in the heat of the day it is quite a steep climb. If you have a car then it is no problem.

5.00 - ”любимое место!”
Останавливаемся на этой вилле уже в 4 раз, чувствуем себя как дома) Нравится все!-расположение- уединенное место на холме с шикарным видом с балкона. ДО моря 5 минут. Рядом расположена уютная деревенька Плака, где можно пообедать в одной из таверен с красивым видом на остров Спиналонга . НА вилле есть все необходимое для жизни- полностью укомплектованная кухня, чайник, кофеварка, набор посуды, большой холодильник и тп. Площадка для барбекю. Два этажа, три спальни- может остановится большая семья. Хозяин гостеприимный и доброжелательный- всегда встречает с угощением , шампанским и фруктами. В целом впечатление как обычно на самой позитивной ноте- рекомендуем и сами обязательно вернемся сюда в следующем году)

The children aged 10 &12.yrs.lived in the pool.
