Description
Villa Selena is a 300sqm luxurious 6 bedroom villa located on a close the village of Choudetsi, 17 km away from the city of Heraklion. This outstanding villa, which stands in its own grounds , is surrounded by vineyards and is built on the top of a hill (480m) offering the most amazing, panoramic views of the Lasithi mountains, the mountain of Psiloritis, the city of Heraklion and the Cretan sea.

The residence is uniquely decorated, has spacious rooms and offers all the modern facilities to ensure a luxurious accommodation for its guests. It has a huge 2000sqm garden with flowers and lawn, a private pool, a children’s pool and a volley ball and football field. The peaceful and tranquil environment, as well as the privacy offered, makes Villa Selena an ideal holiday home for both summer and winter time and an excellent choice for family reunions or large groups of friends who want to get away from everyday anxiety and enjoy a wonderful vacation. The location of the villa is also perfect for ecotourism, outdoor activities and for exploring the beauties of Crete.
Villa Selena has a 300sqm interior area and is built on one level. The living room has comfortable couches, a fireplace, satellite TV and stereo and overlooks the garden and pool. There is also a dining area which seats 12 guests, and an open plan fully equipped kitchen. 

The 6 bedrooms are separated in two wings (each with three rooms). All have twin beds but in four of the bedrooms the beds can be converted into doubles. All of thge rooms have access to the terrace. Each wing has one bathroom with a shower and a spa tub with Jets, a second bathroom with a shower and a WC.
The villa is surrounded by a 2000sqm garden with lawn, flowers, trees and vineyards all spreading their beautiful aromas in the air. 

There is a 40sqm private swimming pool and a children’s pool with comfortable sun beds and umbrellas around. In the garden and overlooking the pool there is also a wonderful dining area under a pergola and a BBQ, a perfect spot to enjoy a dinner under the sky. 

For those who are into sports there is a field to play football, volley ball or hockey.

5.00 - ”Fantastic accommodation, space, facilities, location and service!”
We were a family of 8, covering 3 generations from 2 to 65 years. Villa Selena sits majestically on a mountain surrounded by vineyards, with great views and seclusion, but within 30 minutes from beaches, Heraklion, the airport, waterpark, aquarium and other places of interest. It offers an exceptional amount of space indoors and extensive grounds outdoors. It is very well appointed with all the facilities you could possibly want and more - e.g. even a telescope to view the night sky! To cap it all the owner and the housekeeper couldn't be more helpful and attentive - meeting us at the airport, making dinner one night and fresh jam one morning. There are good quality towels, bedding and pool towels changed every couple of days, and your laundry is done for you! You do need a car to get around. Highly recommended for families and large groups!!!

5.00 - ”Unas vacaciones estupendas”
Nuestra estancia en Villa Selena ha sido estupenda,la casa es fantástica, muy espaciosa para toda nuestra amplia familia. El servicio de limpieza cada dos dias incluía el lavado de ropa. El anfitrión Giannis estuvo muy atento con nosotros incluso nos obsequió con un guiso de cabra buenisimo. Es un lugar muy tranquilo con unas vistas preciosas y cerca de distintos pueblos donde poder comprar lo necesario. Debería mejorarse el wifi Muy recomendable.

if you are looking to discover Creta , Villa Selena and Giannis are what you need. Very nice place ,good local food, nice evening with local music band ,I really look forward to go there again. Thanks Giannis and see you soon .....I mean I wish
